Kerry Stratton
Global Managing Director, Healthcare

With more than three decades of experience in delivering technology solutions to healthcare organisations worldwide, Kerry Stratton plays a central role in the ongoing development and execution of InterSystems’ global healthcare strategy. Since joining InterSystems in 2005, Stratton has been invited by over 35 governments and regional healthcare organisations to discuss their e-health strategies -- including the UK, Denmark, Norway, South Africa, the Czech Republic and the USA. He is a frequent speaker on the issue of regional and national EHR strategies.

Before joining InterSystems, Stratton was Chief Executive of TrakHealth, a recognized healthcare technology innovator, acquired by InterSystems in 2007. He founded Australia-based TrakHealth in 1991 and led the company to leadership, providing an advanced, fully integrated hospital information system that is now installed in more than 300 healthcare organizations in 25 countries. Stratton’s background also includes serving as Managing Director at Hoyden-Spike, an Australian provider of healthcare and transportation application and as Director of Détente Systems, a provider of laboratory, radiology and other clinical systems that has been acquired by Reston, VA-based QuadraMed Corp. He also worked as IT Director for P&O, a leading shipping firm in the UK and began his career as a medical scientist for Pathology and Allied Services, one of the largest medical testing laboratories in Sydney, Australia.

Stratton graduated from the Institute of Medical Technology in Sydney, Australia.
