Denis A. Tebbutt
Managing Director, InterSystems Australia

Denis Tebbutt is Managing Director, InterSystems Australia. Mr Tebbutt’s primary responsibility as Managing Director is to oversee the expansion of InterSystems’ business in Australia. His focus includes managing and driving all aspects of the Australian operation as well as building strong relationships with customers and strategic technology partners in the region. Mr Tebbutt also works with the local InterSystems sales and marketing team to build awareness of InterSystems’ flagship product, Caché and to promote the organisation as a supplier of software to developers of mission critical applications.

Denis brings to InterSystems more than thirty years of industry experience gained in the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and Australia. He has managed international operations and businesses at senior management levels for software, services and hardware vendors.

Prior to joining Intersystems, Denis was responsible for the worldwide operations of Financial Network Services, a developer and supplier of Retail Banking Systems. Denis moved to Sydney as Managing Director of Policy Management Systems Corporation (now part of CSC). Denis previously spent ten years with Prime Computers holding various director, general manager and vice-president roles. He has also held the position of Chief Executive of Scientific Computers. Denis entered the IT industry through the British Petroleum computer services subsidiary SCICON. Denis has an engineering background that initially led him into the automotive industry with Ford.

Denis was born and educated in London. He is a retired rugby player and swimmer who enjoys scuba diving, golf and Tai Chi.
